T-TEL organized a four-day robotics training programme for teachers at Tamale Senior High School (SHS) from 10th to 13th March 2026. The training was held at the school’s STEM laboratory provided by T-TEL, and aimed to build teachers’ capacity to integrate robotics and practical STEM learning into classroom teaching.
While participating schools were expected to send three to four teachers, the Headmaster of Tamale SHS, Mr. Yakubu Mohammed Mustapha took advantage of the training being hosted at the school to enroll more teachers, enabling twelve (12) teachers from Tamale SHS to benefit from the programme.
The training focused on introducing teachers to the fundamentals of robotics, hands-on practical activities, and strategies for incorporating robotics into STEM education to enhance student engagement and problem-solving skills.
By the end of the training, participating teachers had gained practical experience with robotics tools and expressed readiness to apply their new skills in the classroom to strengthen STEM education at Tamale SHS.
